Position Purpose:

Overall delivery responsibility for the project(s), ensuring the successful delivery of the outcomes and targets defined in the Programme/Portfolio Strategy. Lead all aspects of one or multiple complex projects, from planning through implementation and tracking, ensuring they are completed on time, within budget, and aligned with internal standards and frameworks.


Major/Key Accountabilities


Project Management:

Accountable for planning and leading the execution of highly complex projects, delivering formal project milestones and the overall delivery plan by leading multi‑functional teams. Support the programme/portfolio team to articulate and determine value drivers, outline the vision statement and the business case. Collaborate with program/portfolio management to ensure alignment with organizational strategy. Agree on governance bodies to manage risks and make decisions, define the Sponsorship Group, prepare and deliver monthly Steering Committee meetings, share pre-read materials, and manage actions and decisions ensuring they are stored in a centralized location. Support architectural assessment. Track and manage dependencies on other projects and BAU work needed to meet agreed targets. Agree on delivery methodology (Agile, Waterfall, hybrid, etc.). Manage execution of the change management strategy, including defining and rolling out training, executing communication cadence, and managing the change agent network. Manage project progress, updates to the plan, and stakeholder engagement, issuing regular communications summarizing progress and clarifying priorities. Participate in regular programme/portfolio meetings and provide progress updates. Manage and report project budget and support full budget management. Coordinate with other Senior Project Managers to identify dependencies across projects. Support Programme/Portfolio Manager with planning, preparing for change, and transitioning the solution to Operations. Responsible for project closure activities, ensuring Capex/Opex accuracy, releasing resources, and closing projects formally. Manage handover of the solution or business process to BAU support. Ensure Service Design is approved and handed over to BAU. Ensure Objective and Vision have been achieved. Lead lessons learned sessions for handover to Production Support teams. Serve as primary point of contact between the project team and senior stakeholders, ensuring timelines and effective communications. Demonstrate success in improving customer experience and building strong stakeholder relationships.


PMO Governance:

Support and follow PMO governance across complex projects, implement standardized tools, methodologies, processes, and ways of working aligned to best practices, maintain compliance, provide actionable reporting, and ensure clear decision-making processes. Ensure compliance with organization policies and quality control standards.


Third‑Party Management:

Engage and work with partners, vendors, employees, and agencies to ensure project success. Manage cross-functional coordination, opportunity screening, benefit/cost analysis, vendor selection, schedule and budget oversight, management of consultants or contractors, issue resolution, and reporting. Coordinate with legal, contracting, procurement, finance, marketing, and communications teams to ensure risk control, successful rollout, and streamlined communications.


Authority and Decision Making:

Runs the Steering Committee and weekly project meetings. Represents the project when submitting progress to the Investment Board. Facilitates decisions and discussions with senior stakeholders related to project roadmaps.

Qualifications:

Bachelor’s degree in business, technology, or a related field; master’s degree preferred.

English Fluency (mandatory)


Experience:

5+ years managing complex projects within a programme/portfolio environment.


Skills and Knowledge:

Strong leadership, strategic mindset, and collaboration skills for driving successful delivery of complex projects. Strong communication, influence, negotiation, and stakeholder management abilities. Ability to articulate project vision and facilitate collaboration among stakeholders with diverse objectives. Proven success in delivering projects on time and within budget. Experience in budgeting, financial management, and resource allocation. Knowledge of project management best practices and tools. Experience in matrix organizations with cross‑functional teams, ideally global, managing multiple time zones. Experience with both Waterfall and Agile methodologies. Experience with MS Teams, Jira, Confluence, and Lucid is desired.
