Your Responsibilities As a Flex Power Project Engineer

You’ll be part of a team that helps power plants run safely and efficiently. Don’t worry if you’re not an expert yet—we’ll support your growth.

Supporting Equipment Health Checks

  • Visiting power plants to visually inspect turbines, boilers, and other equipment.
  • Helping identify signs of wear or damage and learning how to spot potential issues.
  • Reviewing operational data to see if anything looks unusual or outside normal conditions.
  • Assisting in setting up monitoring tools to track equipment performance in real-time.
  • Learning to analyze vibrations in rotating machines to detect early signs of problems.
  • Observing and interpreting non-destructive testing techniques used to assess equipment without taking it apart.

Helping Improve Plant Performance

  • Creating and tracking performance indicators (KPIs) for turbines and boilers.
  • Analyzing plant operations for efficiency improvements.
  • Reviewing maintenance and operations reports to understand management practices.
  • Using simulation tools to test operational changes.

Contributing to Technical Investigations

  • Supporting investigations of equipment damage.
  • Participating in technical discussions with plant teams, insurers, and regulators.
  • Attending inspections to learn about repairs and upgrades.
  • Exploring new technologies for modernization.

Your Profile

  • Hands-On Skills: Experience in at least one technical area.
  • Industry Know-How: Exposure to power plant equipment maintenance or troubleshooting.
  • Solid Education: Degree in Mechanical, Electrical, or Energy Engineering.
  • Language & Independence: Fluent in English; willing to learn Spanish; open to travel.
  • Curiosity for Sector: Interest in power generation and understanding of energy markets.
