Responsibilities
The Opportunity
- The key objective of this new role is to robust Logistics team with a more senior strategic role, capable of designing Logistics strategy based on its professional experiences and market insights to ensure robust alignment to stakeholders and business needs, while implementing the Procurement Transformation roadmap.
- This role is responsible for leading the Transportation & Warehouse sourcing agenda (Aprox.45MM usd), leading productivity projects in collaboration with Supply Chain/customs and trade teams.
- Give visibility to leadership and local/regional business on cost forecasting.
- T&W MSO Sr. Buyer will lead the execution of Transportation & Warehouse Procurement AOP Plan for Argentina/Chile/Uruguay/Paraguay & will be the link between the Procurement regional category teams and the business for the execution of the productivity plan.
- Align projects and strategies to ensure the leverage of resources and suppliers in order to deliver the BU productivity plan, in addition.
- This roles is also accountable for ensure robust contract compliance agenda on negotiated costs, processes, and terms.
As Proc Business Engagement Assoc Manager your scope would consist of:
- Category strategy
- Develop category strategies in close alignment/transparency with leadership stakeholders and client areas.
- Derive best category decision-making based on available information (internal and external reports) and its own expertise.
- Maintain an holistic view of Logistics spend and categories, being the focal point for MSO/other senior stakeholders on the topics.
- Review budget for the relevant categories based on business strategic goals and constraints.
- Contribute to long-term forecasts and predictions by providing market insights based on its expertise.
- Guarantee the integration between SOCO strategy to categories management / actions.
- Category management
- Act as a change agent to improve the process, to move this spend to purchasing excellence (compliance, best practices, competitive bidding).
- Validate / challenge innovation effort to the category, TCO analyses and a new models driving savings at local market level and delivering savings on a year/year basis.
- Ensure the implementation of legal contract management process that will cover 100% of Suppliers.
- Act as a direct spend focal point for PepsiCo’s leadership, supporting and providing inputs for decision making.
- People management
- Support selection key personnel for Logistics team, in close alignment with HR and MSO.
- Lead a team where will coach and develop talent, creating succession planning pipelines at local level.
- Support definition of Logistics team goals and KPIs.
- Manage and develop the team to achieve high performance.
- Be responsible for the development and career guidance of & Logistics reports.
Who Are We Looking For?
- Graduated in Bachelor of Administration, Engineering or Economics.
- Minimum 3 years work experience in the Procurement Area (Transportation desirable).
- Capabilities to succeed in matricial teams/ Influencing skills.
- Strong conceptual, analytical, project management, collaboration, communication, and influencing skills.
- Knowledge of SAP, and/or Ariba Sourcing/Contract Management (desirable).
- Leadership capabilities (2 direct report).
- Excellent collaborator and Communicator.
- Capability to work under pressure and deliver short term results in VUCA environment.
- Intermediate or higher English level.
