We are looking for a Privacy and Confidentiality Senior Analyst who will physically work in Chile but will work for the Canadian Deloitte firm. We need someone with advanced English skills who will communicate and work with Canadian colleagues and clients, who is effective at identifying, assessing, and managing risk.

The Privacy and Confidentiality Office supports Deloitte in its management of personal and confidential information. The Privacy and Confidentiality Office does this by interpreting privacy legislation and professional standards, client contract requirements, and internal policies and procedures to identify the requirements we must uphold. The Privacy and Confidentiality Office then works with different parts of the Deloitte business to identify, assess, and manage privacy and confidentiality risk.

Among the main functions are

• Analyzing data to identify trends, insights, and risks, and to produce reporting on such data to various levels of leadership
• To assess technologies Deloitte is procuring or building to ensure such technologies have appropriate privacy and confidentiality controls in place (often referred to as a PIA). This often involves participation in technical discussions to learn about the technology, to review controls, and then to make recommendations to manage risk
• Preparing privacy and confidentiality guidance material and training to inform people of Deloitte policy, procedure, client contract and best practices, including delivering such training
• Support the investigation of suspected data exfiltration events
• Triaging requests received in the central inbox and ServiceNow so the right work is assigned to the right team member
• Work with Chilean colleagues to ensure process alignment
• Support other ad hoc privacy and confidentiality requests, as required

Experience Required

• Advanced command of the English language.
• Professional graduated from: Commercial Engineering and/or Auditor Accountant.
• Work experience preferably in the areas of compliance or risk, ethics, internal or external auditing, internal control, risk compliance, risk management, management of internal processes, legal support or analysis or management and/or administration of contracts.
• Knowledge of emerging technologies, encryption, AI, and other technology concepts is an asset.
• Advanced proficiency in Excel and PPT.
• Availability to work additional/flexible hours as required.
