About The Role

RPMGlobal is currently seeking an experienced Presales Consultant (Mine Planning) with experience in mining software solutions to join our Chilean operations.

The Presales Consultant (Mine Planning) will be responsible for providing support to the sales and software teams during the presale activities involving RPM activities, with a particular focus on RPM’s mine planning and scheduling products. This role requires a qualified Mining Engineer who would like to use their experience to assist in developing technology solutions for mining problems. You will apply your mining industry experience to provide technical software support to RPM clients during software presentations, training and sales activities.

The role is permanent and full-time, based in our Las Condes, Santiago, operations. Regular domestic and international travel is a requirement of this role.

Key Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain client relationships in the region.
• Identify new clients for both RPM Software solutions and Consulting services.
• Match client needs to RPM software and service offerings.
• Maintain a high level of customer engagement and satisfaction.
• Assist the RPM software sales team in promoting the use of RPM software to potential clients.
• Ensure client requirements are adequately defined and recorded.
• Manage the technical evaluation phase of the sales cycle for prospective RPM clients.
• Assist with the provision of general software consulting services as required.
  
  

About You

• Tertiary Qualification in Mining Engineering.
• Previous experience in planning and operation of mining engineering functions on-site.
• Computer literacy with mainstream operational mining software.
• Experience in implementing mining industry software is highly desirable.
• The ability to communicate complex solutions to a variety of customer stakeholders, from technical to non-technical.
• A working knowledge of operational data manipulation techniques.
• Strong command of the English language in both verbal and written form.
• Available to travel both domestically and internationally regularly.
• Must be based in Santiago and legally entitled to work in Chile.
