Job Description Summary:

The Pre-Access Specialist will coordinate patient orders from physician offices and internal departments, ensuring appropriate distribution and accuracy of scheduled procedure orders.

Essential Functions:

• Manages all orders received by fax or other sources and scans them into the hospital's electronic patient medical records.
• Reviews physician signatures, tests, dates, and diagnoses for order accuracy.
• Responds to internal and external calls and emails promptly.
• Supports departmental goals while ensuring productivity standards are met.
• Provides excellent customer service using the ADIET method.

Shift Requirements:

8-hour shift, 5 days a week. Overtime may be required infrequently.
