Responsibilities

• Strengthen and maintain perimeter and network security controls, including web application firewalls (WAF), rate limiting, anti-bot protections, and DDoS mitigation strategies.
• Secure APIs against abuse and improve authentication and access control mechanisms.
• Lead the vulnerability management lifecycle for security issues.
• Coordinate external penetration testing engagements.
• Drive incident response activities and collaborate with monitoring teams.
• Partner with teams on fraud prevention and customer data protection.
• Promote secure development practices across engineering teams.

Requirements

• 5+ years in information security, with 3+ years in product security.
• Expertise managing Web Application Firewalls like Wallarm, Akamai, or Cloudflare.
• Understanding of API security principles and OWASP API Security Top 10.
• Experience in DDoS protection and vulnerability management programs.
• Knowledge of OAuth, OIDC, JWT, session management, and modern authentication frameworks.
• Strong communication and problem-solving skills across distributed teams.
