Objective of the Consultancy

The consultant will assist RES Economists in producing research on macroeconomic policies, contributing to publications and discussions around fiscal and monetary strategies.

Key Responsibilities

• Develop materials for senior management on macroeconomic trends
• Monitor and analyze economic indicators for the region
• Translate research findings into accessible policy documents
• Contribute to the Annual Macroeconomic Report and other key outputs
• Maintain macroeconomic databases and analytical tools
• Conduct relevant macroeconomic research and analysis

Required Skills

• Ability to communicate complex analyses clearly to diverse audiences
• Strong writing skills in English and Spanish
• Experience with macroeconomic databases and data visualization
• Capacity to manage multiple tasks efficiently

Education and Experience Requirements

• Master's degree in economics or related fields
• At least 5 years of relevant experience
• Proficiency in econometric software such as Stata, R, or Python

Contract Details

• Type: Product External Consultant (PEC)
• Duration: Three months, with potential renewal
• Location: Remote
