The Position:

The O&M Technician plays an important role with this rapidly growing company. This dynamic and fast-track position reports to the Field Service Manager and is a key member of the service team on the O&M contract for the utility project.

Main Activities and Responsibilities:

• Lead field assignments.
• Perform and/or lead preventive/corrective maintenance and O&M activities.
• Conduct engineering assignments involving solar central inverter operations.
• Troubleshoot and test solar inverters and components in the field.
• Identify and address solar plant issues.
• Lead upgrade projects (software and hardware).
• Work with customer SCADA to adjust parameters.
• Participate in customer training as needed.
• Research alternative components for field use.
• Coordinate with R&D engineering in China for troubleshooting.

• Proficient with test equipment and hand tools.

• Effective written and verbal communication skills.
• Ability to follow instructions and procedures closely.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite.
• Knowledge of electrical safety.

Education and Minimum Requirements:

• Bachelor’s or technical degree with equivalent experience.
• 4+ years of experience in field service.
• 2 years of experience in solar plants.
• Solar industry experience required.
• Basic or Intermediate English proficiency.
