Job Opportunity: Occupational Therapy Clinical Support Worker (Band 4) - NHS FifeAn exciting opportunity has arisen to join the NHS Fife Acute Services Division, Occupational Therapy (OT) service.
We are seeking an experienced Clinical Support Worker to work with the OT service in the Palliative Care Team.
Role Overview: As an OT Clinical Support Worker (CSW), Band 4, you will carry an independent caseload under supervision.
Your intervention will focus on promoting independent living skills, managing symptoms effectively, and providing and fitting equipment.
Work Environment: Most interventions occur within hospitals and hospices, but you may also visit patients' homes across Fife to deliver and fit equipment, requiring the ability to travel.
Responsibilities: This diverse, fast-paced role involves working within a multidisciplinary team with clients in palliative and oncology care.
You will collaborate with Physiotherapy colleagues, sharing skills and roles as needed.
The role requires knowledge of palliative care, oncology, occupational therapy equipment, excellent communication and IT skills, and the ability to assess and treat independently to a high standard.
Qualifications and Experience: A relevant HNC and/or SVQ Level 3, or evidence of working towards this qualification, or relevant training and experience equivalent to this is essential.
Extensive health or social care experience in an OT or related environment is also required.
