Svitla Systems Inc. is looking for a Middle Cloud Engineer for a full-time position (40 hours per week) in Chile. Our client is an AI-driven software company specializing in autonomous, resilient supply chain planning and optimization. Headquartered in California, the company’s mission is to enhance supply chain resilience, sustainability, and operational efficiency for manufacturers and enterprises across various sectors, including food, beauty, consumer packaged goods, electronics, aerospace, and construction. The platform includes a digital twin engine that simulates both routine operations and shock scenarios (such as supply chain disruptions, commodity price spikes, and geopolitical events), allowing businesses to proactively test and compare the impact of different decisions on key business outcomes. The solution integrates hundreds of external signals, including macroeconomic, industry-specific, and market data, into its models, enriching AI-driven recommendations with real-world context. The AI agents continuously learn from historical and real-time data, generating alternative scenarios for demand planning, production scheduling, procurement, and logistics. The platform is delivered as a cloud-based, subscription service, with modular adoption for specific use cases (e.g., demand planning, production planning). It integrates via APIs with ERP systems, including SAP, Oracle, and Microsoft Dynamics.

Both AWS and G-Cloud are used in the project, as different customers have different cloud and integration preferences. The stack includes AWS (EKS, EC2, S3, Textract, CloudWatch) and Google Cloud (CE, GKE, CS, SQL), as well as its own Python AI/ML clusters, web microservices, dashboards, and visualizations.

Requirements

• Minimum 4 years of experience writing and maintaining production-quality code.
• At least 4 years of experience with industry building referenceable work
• 2 years of experience with Kubernetes.
• Solid understanding of and passion for distributed systems.
• Strong algorithmic background.
• Obsession with performance tuning and delighting customers with the best user experience.
• Motivation and insatiable hunger for continuous learning and growth to be the best engineer in your specialization.
• A team player who is supportive of everyone in the team and understands that it takes the entire team to succeed.
• Significant experience with an AI/ML startup that’s deployed cloud solutions at scale.
• B.Sc. in CS or an engineering discipline.
