Mechanical & Hydraulic Service Engineer
Provide technical assistance to customers with operations in Chile and abroad, ensuring the preventive and corrective execution of equipment maintenance routines, specifically diaphragm piston pumps, in accordance with the equipment manual, HSSE standards, and company best practices. The professional will play a key role in customer interaction, managing resource availability and ensuring the execution of the scope of work.
Job Responsibilities
Promote services and equipment upgrades to customers, seeking better performance, condition, and safety in operation;
Installation, maintenance, testing, monitoring, and diagnosis of mechanical and hydraulic activities;
Record technical and administrative details of the execution in reports in accordance with the company's quality management system and policies;
Ability to read and interpret hydraulic diagrams and procedures;
Provide support for the control and organization of technical documents;
Promote and execute work in line with the company's Quality, Safety, Health, and Environment policies;
Act proactively in the execution of services, analyzing the company's technical case database and reports on preventive action, non-conformities, and technical bulletins;
Promote the exchange of information, technical knowledge, and lessons learned through proper recording and dissemination.
Job Qualifications
Education: Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering.
Class B driver's license and experience driving in mines.
Experience in services for pumping systems in mining operations.
Fluent Spanish;
Portuguese and English are a plus;
Knowledge of diaphragm piston pump operation and maintenance;
Knowledge of hydrocyclone plant operation and maintenance and associated systems;
Team leadership is a plus;
Working at heights course, new employee induction, tool handling.
