What This Opportunity Involves

Each project involves unique tasks, including:
  • Designing rigorous mathematics problems reflecting professional practice.
  • Evaluating AI solutions for correctness, assumptions, and constraints.
  • Validating calculations or simulations using Python (NumPy, Pandas, SciPy).
  • Improving AI reasoning to align with industry-standard logic.
  • Applying structured scoring criteria to multi-step problems.

What We Look For

This opportunity is ideal for mathematicians with Python experience, available for part-time, non-permanent projects. Contributors ideally will have:
  • A degree in Mathematics or related fields (e.g., Algebra, Calculus, Number Theory).
  • 3+ years of professional mathematics experience.
  • Strong written English (C1/C2).
  • Strong proficiency in Python for numerical validation.
  • A stable internet connection.

Professional certifications (e.g., CMME, SAS Certifications, CAP) and experience in international or applied projects are advantageous.

Project Time Expectations

Tasks are estimated to require around 10-20 hours per week during active phases, depending on project requirements. This is an estimate, not a guaranteed workload, applicable only while the project is active.

Payment

  • Paid contributions, with rates up to $36/hour*
  • Fixed project rate or individual rates, depending on the project.
  • Some projects include incentive payments.
  • Note: Rates vary based on expertise, skills assessment, location, project needs, and other factors. Higher rates may be offered to specialized experts, while lower rates may apply during onboarding or non-core project phases.
