The Role

As the Manager of Operational Excellence and Analytics, you'll report to the Director and collaborate with mine sites to drive productivity initiatives. This position demands strong leadership, business insight, operational expertise, and analytical skills.

Travel Requirement

The role involves regular travel to mine sites, approximately 25% of the time.

Key Responsibilities

• Corporate Operating Model: Manage frameworks that support the operating model and report performance metrics to executives.
• Operational Competitiveness: Influence site decision-makers to promote sustainable productivity and ensure visibility of improvement benefits.
• Innovation Streamline: Evaluate productivity potential from strategic initiatives and support their implementation.
• Business Intelligence and Analytics: Guide data analysis efforts to enhance mine site productivity.
• Data Management: Collaborate with departments on data governance and management standards.
• Organizational Capabilities: Foster knowledge sharing across sites regarding improver initiatives.

What You Bring

• 10+ years of mining or heavy industry experience.
• Proven expertise in continuous improvement and analytics programs.
• Fluent in English and Spanish.
• Bachelor’s degree in engineering, statistics, or related fields.
• Strong communication and leadership skills.
• Experience with improvement methodologies such as Six Sigma or Lean.
• Practical knowledge of business management.
• Expertise in statistical analysis and data interpretation.
