We are looking for an IP Core Local Technical Expert to support testing and configuration tasks during the IoT phase of the Claro VTR backbone network in Chile. If you have strong experience in telecom IP Core networks, this is a great opportunity to be part of a challenge project.

• Job Responsibilities:

Support IP Core testing and configuration work in the IoT testing phase of the Claro VTR backbone network in Chile.

✅ Job Requirements:

1. Strong understanding of TCP/IP, OSPF, IS-IS, BGP, MPLS TE, LDP, RSVP-TE, L2/L3 VPN, IPSec. Ability to design and optimize IP networks.
2. At least 3 years of experience in IP-related projects or roles.
3. Experience with telecom operator IPBB/IP Core networks and familiarity with typical architectures and solutions.
4. Strong skills in English (listening, speaking, reading, and writing).
5. Familiar with configuration and CLI of Juniper, Cisco, and other vendor devices. Experience in Cisco and Juniper testing and maintenance is preferred.
6. Experience in IP Core swap projects is a plus.
7. Familiarity with Claro’s IP Core network architecture, solutions, and configurations is a strong plus.
8. Certifications like Cisco CCNP/CCIE or Huawei HCIP/HCIE are preferred.
9. Priority will be given to candidates familiar with Claro and/or VTR IP Core networks, or who have previous experience in operations and maintenance of either.
