The Partner Engineering Team is looking for enthusiasts to work across the full Linux stack, optimizing Ubuntu for new silicon technologies. Responsibilities include:

• Collaborating proactively within a distributed team
• Fostering a software ecosystem for seamless user experience
• Evaluating contributions to maintain high-quality software standards
• Shaping the future of Ubuntu with innovative ideas
• Debugging open source and team maintained code

What We Are Looking For

• Exceptional academic track record
• Strong fundamentals in C, C++, and Python
• Experience or interest in Linux packaging and open source contribution
• Curiosity and motivation to work with diverse teams

Additional Skills

Experience with:

• Graphics, audio, multimedia stacks
• Virtualization and containers (Docker, Kubernetes)
• Networking protocols and security best practices
