The Partner Engineering Team is looking for enthusiasts to work across the full Linux stack, optimizing Ubuntu for new silicon technologies. Responsibilities include:
- Collaborating proactively within a distributed team
- Fostering a software ecosystem for seamless user experience
- Evaluating contributions to maintain high-quality software standards
- Shaping the future of Ubuntu with innovative ideas
- Debugging open source and team maintained code
What We Are Looking For
We seek individuals with:
- Exceptional academic track record
- Strong fundamentals in C, C++, and Python
- Experience or interest in Linux packaging and open source contribution
- Curiosity and motivation to work with diverse teams
Additional Skills
Experience with:
- Graphics, audio, multimedia stacks
- Virtualization and containers (Docker, Kubernetes)
