About the role:
We are looking for a bilingual (Spanish–English) Legal Assistant for our client, who is detail-oriented, proactive, and tech-savvy. This role involves client communication, basic drafting of legal documents, updating case information, making calls to clients and embassies, managing calendars, and assisting with operational workflow.
The ideal candidate brings strong initiative, learns quickly, and can “connect the dots” without requiring step-by-step direction.
US Law Firm Experience Is a Plus.
What you’ll be doing:
- Communicating with clients, both English and Spanish-speaking, with professionalism and clarity.
- Making outbound calls to clients, embassies, and agencies as needed.
- Drafting basic legal documents and motions (training provided).
- Updating and tracking cases in the firm’s case management system (MyCase).
- Managing the attorney’s schedule, appointments, and internal coordination.
- Assisting in internal communication between employees and supporting operational workflows.
- Handling sensitive information with discretion and professionalism.
- Participating in remote meetings and managing documents through digital platforms.
- Working in a fast-paced environment with high case volume and supporting the attorney with day-to-day case management tasks.
- 2+ years of experience as a Legal Assistant, or similar role.
- Strong technology skills and ability to learn new systems quickly (experience with MyCase or other legal tools is a plus, but not required).
- Proven ability to manage billing processes, information gathering, follow up on documents, etc.
- Excellent customer service and communication skills (written and verbal).
- Highly organized, detail-oriented, and efficient under pressure.
- Ability to work independently in a remote environment.
- Bilingual in Spanish and English (written and verbal).
- Experience working in a US law firm is a plus, but not required.
Remote Status: Fully Remote

Working Hours: 9 am to 5 pm EST
Holidays: US Federal Holidays
Salary: USD 1000 - USD 1400 per month
