The Learning and Development Manager's primary responsibility is implementing, managing, and optimizing the Dayforce/eloomi Learning Management System. They will also support analyzing, creating, delivering, and evaluating engaging learning content utilizing adult learning principles for multiple functions/roles.
Our ideal candidate leads by example, adapts well to change, and consistently demonstrates professionalism, teamwork, and problem-solving skills. They have strong project management experience with learning systems and advanced expertise in Dayforce and eloomi LMS administration.
As part of our team, your main responsibilities will be:
- Serve as the primary administrator and subject matter expert for the Dayforce/eloomi Learning Management System across the organization.
- Configure and maintain the Dayforce/eloomi LMS environment, including system settings, security permissions, and user access controls.
- Design and implement learning architecture within Dayforce/eloomi LMS, including curricula, certification paths, and competency frameworks.
- Manage the full content lifecycle in Dayforce/eloomi LMS - uploading, organizing, tagging, and archiving learning materials.
- Create and optimize automated workflows for course assignments, notifications, approvals, and completion tracking.
- Develop and maintain comprehensive Dayforce/eloomi LMS reports and dashboards to track completion rates, compliance status, and learning effectiveness.
- Troubleshoot technical issues and be the primary liaison with Dayforce/eloomi technical support.
- Train and support L&D team members to administer tasks within the system and train internal customers to use the Dayforce LMS platform effectively.
- Implement and manage Dayforce/eloomi LMS integration with other HR systems and content libraries.
- Stay current with Dayforce updates and implement new features to enhance the learning experience.
- Lead periodic system audits to ensure data integrity and optimal Dayforce/eloomi LMS performance.
- Collaborate with IT and Compliance teams to ensure the Dayforce/eloomi LMS meets security and regulatory requirements.
- A bachelor's degree or equivalent experience in Instructional and/or Educational Technology, Computer Science, Learning and Development, or related field.
- 3+ years of experience in Learning Management System administration, HR systems, or L&OD management.
- Strong technical proficiency with LMS platforms (Dayforce/eloomi preferred), including configuration and troubleshooting.
- Advanced knowledge of Dayforce LMS functionality, including content management, reporting, and system configuration.
- Ability to project manage an enterprise LMS implementation utilizing ADDIE principles.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills, attention to detail, customer experience, and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work independently and manage one's time.
- Intermediate-Advanced knowledge of online learning processes and principles.
- Advanced knowledge of learning consulting, analysis, facilitation skills, and classroom management.
- Experience with LMS reporting and analytics to measure learning effectiveness.
