This role requires a balance of technical SharePoint development skills and leadership capabilities, including managing a team, ensuring project success, and collaborating with stakeholders to fulfill business goals.
Responsibilities
- Direct the SharePoint development team to ensure timely delivery with high-quality standards
- Perform SharePoint development tasks, including coding, testing, and debugging, to create effective solutions
- Plan and manage project schedules, resource assignment, and release cycles for successful execution
- Work with stakeholders and cross-functional teams to align project deliverables with organizational needs
- Hold team meetings to monitor progress, address challenges, and generate actionable solutions
- Oversee deployment processes while managing risks and ensuring smooth coordination of releases
- Implement and enforce compliance with company policies, procedures, and best practices during projects
- Provide mentorship to team members to enhance skillsets, build accountability, and promote collaboration
- Stay informed about new SharePoint technologies and implement improvements to optimize solutions
- Background in SharePoint development with a minimum of 5+ years of experience
- Expertise in SharePoint Online, SharePoint Server, and SharePoint Designer
- Understanding of project resource allocation, stakeholder coordination, and release strategies
- Skills in solving complex technical issues using critical thinking and problem-solving techniques
- Competency in managing teams, mentoring team members, and fostering strong communication
- Proven track record of project success in high-pressure and fast-paced environments
- Flexibility to incorporate new technologies and tools into existing processes
- Fluency in English with strong communication skills at a B2+ level
