About The Role
The purpose f this role is leads a team focussed on ensuring BOS principles and practices (operating model of BHP) are adopted and applied in a consistent and sustainable way across all levels of the enterprise, enabling improvement and exceptional outcomes in key safety, productivity, and cultural metrics. Coaches and develops team leaders / teams to deliver high performance.
Main Responsabilities
- Coach the MinAm Project VP and Senior leadership team in the application of BOS principles.
- Communicates narratives about the problem or idea at hand, using visual representations to engage and motivate the audience.
- Assesses change impacts to prepare integrated change management plans, manages change readiness and resistance, and upskills leaders and impacted stakeholders in the adoption and successful delivery of the change.
- Identifies, engages and manages a range of diverse internal and external stakeholders.
- Conducts presentations and facilitates workshops using storytelling to connect, influence and engage the audience.
- Identifies, implements and evaluates the success of continuous improvement activities/initiatives to improve the safety, effectiveness and efficiency of BHP systems and processes.
- Applies an understanding of the business context, BHP operating model and ways of working to enhance decision making, productivity and value chain performance.
- Engages the capabilities of the entire organization.
- Strives to achieve 100% safety, 100% customer value and 0% waste.
- Knows our customer and is obsessed with meeting their needs.
About you
- Professional degree related to the position.
- At least 8 years of experience in similar roles.
- Experience in implementing and sustaining Continuous Improvement tools.
- Previous experience leading/coordinating people.
Mandatory Requirements: Availability to travel to Escondida site (Antofagasta) and Pampa Norte site sporadically.
