Overview

Become a Lead Microsoft Azure DevOps Engineer and spearhead the critical migration of a platform from the Azure cloud to an on-premise environment.

Key Responsibilities

• Drive the migration of a platform from the Azure cloud to on-premises infrastructure
• Develop and maintain CI/CD pipelines with Azure DevOps tools
• Set up and manage Kubernetes clusters and associated services
• Automate administrative tasks using Bash, PowerShell, and Python scripts
• Maintain and optimize Linux and Windows servers for security and performance
• Create and update infrastructure as code with Terraform and Helm
• Evaluate distributed system components to improve integration and efficiency
• Work closely with cross-disciplinary teams to support deployment workflows
• Diagnose and fix issues related to container orchestration and deployment
• Monitor system stability and performance to minimize downtime
• Implement security best practices for secret management and network configurations
• Record procedures and system configurations to facilitate knowledge transfer

Requirements

• Extensive experience with Azure DevOps and a minimum of 5 years in related roles
• In-depth understanding of Kubernetes API and cluster services
• Proficiency in Linux system administration and maintenance
• Advanced skills in scripting languages including Bash and Python
• Hands-on experience with Terraform and Helm for automated infrastructure setup
• Comprehensive knowledge of CI/CD methodologies and pipeline design
• Ability to assess complex distributed systems and make independent decisions
• Experience with container platforms such as Docker and OpenShift
• Familiarity with Windows system administration
• Strong analytical and problem-solving capabilities
• Excellent communication skills with English proficiency at B2 level or above

Nice to Have

• Knowledge of Istio service mesh and network policy management
• Experience developing Kubernetes operators
• Familiarity with monitoring solutions like Prometheus and Grafana
• Understanding of OAuth2 and OIDC authentication standards
• Experience with secret management tools such as HashiCorp Vault
