Lead ETL Developer

Responsibilities

  • Develop ETL processes and improve existing code using Informatica PowerCenter.
  • Build, configure, and unit test programs based on technical specifications.
  • Collaborate with data architects and application teams to support ETL initiatives.
  • Design ETL solutions while providing effort estimates for various projects.
  • Coordinate ETL development tasks across onshore and offshore teams.
  • Provide support for administrative and production environments of Informatica.
  • Offer advanced troubleshooting and operational support.
  • Define best practices for the ETL development team and ensure adherence.
  • Document runbooks for developed code and ongoing operations.
  • Propose enhancements to the data warehouse and manage offshore implementation efforts.
  • Communicate and escalate critical issues to appropriate stakeholders.

Requirements

  • At least 5 years in a data warehouse development role.
  • More than 7 years of Informatica experience with Mappings, Workflows, and process development.
  • Ability to create and utilize complex SQL for ETL solutions.
  • Expertise in leveraging Informatica tools across various scenarios.
  • Understanding of integration technologies and related processes.
  • Proficiency in English at a B2+ level or higher.

Nice to Have

  • Knowledge of Kimball, Inmon, and Millbrook methodologies.
  • Familiarity with testing methodologies and tools.
  • Experience working within Windows-based environments.
  • Awareness of EDW reconciliation and related solutions.
  • Credentials validating expertise in Informatica or similar technologies.
