We are looking for a detail-focused and seasoned Lead DBT Developer to craft, implement, and refine data pipelines and models using dbt and Snowflake.

As a subject matter expert, you will be instrumental in building scalable and efficient data solutions, ensuring compliance with standards, and facilitating client knowledge transfer.

 

Responsibilities

• Define high-level and detailed architecture for data ingestion, transformation, and presentation layers using dbt and Snowflake
• Ensure compliance with Data Marketplace standards, including schema design, naming conventions, and governance protocols
• Provide support for implementing dbt models, Snowflake objects (tables, views, streams, tasks), and orchestration workflows
• Apply best practices from Snowflake Business Office and dbt Cloud usage models
• Validate solutions for security, performance, and cost-effectiveness alignment
• Offer training to empower clients throughout the build phase
• Deliver detailed documentation and solution walkthroughs for client ownership post-project
• Participate in sprint reviews and standups to align with project objectives

 

Requirements

• Expertise in dbt and Snowflake with demonstrated production experience
• 5+ years of background using Amazon Web Services, Snowflake, and data modeling
• Understanding of best practices in data governance, security, and cost management
• Proficiency in creating scalable data architectures that meet marketplace standards
• Strong communication capability to deliver training and documentation effectively
• Upper-intermediate English language skills (B2+)
