Job Overview

We are looking for a dedicated and experienced Lead Data Software Engineer to contribute to developing technology solutions for Investment operations, including trade processes, accounting, reconciliation, and reporting.

Role Responsibilities

  • Define technical requirements for data-driven solutions in collaboration with stakeholders.
  • Create and maintain software applications using advanced technology stacks.
  • Ensure seamless data capture and delivery through integration processes.
  • Demonstrate business value during sprint showcases.
  • Drive product delivery within Agile environments.
  • Program SQL views and procedures to manage complex workflows.
  • Develop CI/CD pipelines using tools like BitBucket/GitHub.
  • Incorporate reporting tools like Power BI or Tableau.
  • Support data warehousing and Dimensional Modeling methods.
  • Utilize cloud technologies, preferably AWS, for efficient data processing.
  • Design scalable ETL workflows using Python and relevant libraries.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in a technical discipline or equivalent experience.
  • Minimum 5 years of experience as a Data Engineer.
  • Strong SQL skills for managing data workflows.
  • Background with AWS cloud platforms.
  • Proficiency in Python for ETL development.
  • Familiarity with business intelligence tools.
  • Understanding of CI/CD pipelines and Agile practices.

Nice to Have

  • Knowledge of financial systems, particularly in investment accounting.
  • Experience with large-scale financial/ERP systems like SimCorp Dimension.
  • Skills in agile development of data solutions on AWS.
  • Familiarity with data integration technologies.
  • Expertise in creating advanced reporting with Power BI.
