Responsibilities

  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to design, build, and implement scalable data solutions on the Palantir platform, acting as a technical leader.
  • Lead the development of Spark-based data pipelines, ensuring high performance for large-scale data processing.
  • Establish coding guidelines while writing efficient and clean Python code.
  • Utilize PySpark for data manipulation within distributed frameworks.
  • Conduct root cause analysis on data to address business questions.
  • Define and implement DevOps/DataOps practices.
  • Architect scalable data models and structures.
  • Oversee relational database operations and optimization.
  • Serve as a trusted advisor for strategic and technical expertise.
  • Communicate effectively with key stakeholders to ensure project alignment.
  • Mentor Junior and Mid-level Engineers on best practices.
  • Promote a culture of innovation within the team.

Requirements

  • 5+ years of experience in Data Software Engineering.
  • Leadership experience exceeding 1 year.
  • Proven expertise with Palantir, PySpark, and Python.
  • Deep knowledge of Spark data pipelines and optimization.
  • Advanced proficiency in relational databases and SQL.
  • Strong background in data analysis and analytics.
  • Expertise in DevOps/DataOps methodologies.
  • Ability to translate business requirements into technical decisions.
  • Strong leadership and interpersonal skills.
  • Excellent command of English (B2+ level).

Nice to have

  • Familiarity with insurance or financial industries.
  • Hands-on experience with Azure Databricks.
  • Experience working with Azure Data Services.
