Responsibilities
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to design, build, and implement scalable data solutions on the Palantir platform, acting as a technical leader.
- Lead the development of Spark-based data pipelines, ensuring high performance for large-scale data processing.
- Establish coding guidelines while writing efficient and clean Python code.
- Utilize PySpark for data manipulation within distributed frameworks.
- Conduct root cause analysis on data to address business questions.
- Define and implement DevOps/DataOps practices.
- Architect scalable data models and structures.
- Oversee relational database operations and optimization.
- Serve as a trusted advisor for strategic and technical expertise.
- Communicate effectively with key stakeholders to ensure project alignment.
- Mentor Junior and Mid-level Engineers on best practices.
- Promote a culture of innovation within the team.
Requirements
- 5+ years of experience in Data Software Engineering.
- Leadership experience exceeding 1 year.
- Proven expertise with Palantir, PySpark, and Python.
- Deep knowledge of Spark data pipelines and optimization.
- Advanced proficiency in relational databases and SQL.
- Strong background in data analysis and analytics.
- Expertise in DevOps/DataOps methodologies.
- Ability to translate business requirements into technical decisions.
- Strong leadership and interpersonal skills.
- Excellent command of English (B2+ level).
Nice to have
- Familiarity with insurance or financial industries.
- Hands-on experience with Azure Databricks.
- Experience working with Azure Data Services.
