Responsibilities

• Extract data from Clarity PPM using Spotfire reports and save results to Excel spreadsheets
• Transform data with intermediate to advanced Excel functions like Power Query, pivot tables, macros, and Office scripts
• Load data as .csv files to designated SharePoint folders
• Modify and run UiPath StudioX bots for processes like Automatic Timesheet Approval and BMO Pop
• Develop and enhance Power BI desktop reports using intermediate to advanced DAX expressions
• Manage Power BI workspaces, publish reports to the Power BI Service, and deploy as apps
• Use Power Apps within Power BI reports for comment collection and Power Automate workflows for report refresh automation
• Write SQL queries for generating reports and connect Power BI to SQL Server databases
• Edit and design SharePoint pages, including configuring web parts and managing permissions for Document Library folders
• Complete ad hoc tasks in data analytics and visualization as required

 

Requirements

• 5+ years of experience in data analytics and visualization
• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel with advanced formulas, Power Query, pivot tables, macros, and Office scripts
• Skills in Microsoft Power BI, including report development, DAX expressions, workspace management, and report deployment
• Knowledge of SQL and competency to write queries for report creation
• Background in UiPath StudioX for automating business processes
• Familiarity with Microsoft SharePoint, including page design and user permissions
• Strong problem-solving skills and high attention to detail
• Flexibility to operate during Toronto office hours and handle early data extraction tasks
• Good communication skills and collaboration with clients and teams
• English language proficiency at B2 level or above

 

Nice to have

• Expertise in integrating Power Apps and Power Automate with Power BI reports
• Understanding of the Clarity PPM system for project and portfolio management
• Proficiency in automation techniques and bot development beyond foundational UiPath StudioX levels
• Certification in Microsoft Power BI or related analytics tools
• Competency in implementing data governance and security practices within SharePoint environments
