We are looking for a ASSOCIATE I - CONTRACT MANAGEMENT
The Role:
Our client is looking for a Full-Time Legal Associate to join us from a remote position based in Chile. As a member of our team, you’ll be responsible for supporting their client’s business by drafting and negotiating a wide range of contracts as part of a wider general support service to the client’s contracts management and procurement needs.

The position will be engaged as a full-time exclusive labor/employee relationship according to applicable local laws.
Responsibilities:
- Be responsible for drafting and negotiating a wide range of Commercial Contracts.
- Working closely with our Client’s in-house legal departments on a range of matters such as international deals, bids, procurement, marketing, professional services, media, technology, publishing or consumer matters.
- Active caseload management – use of platforms, upload information and tracking different matters.
- Adhere to all our client delivery processes and commitments.
- Input and manage data on our client and client systems and keep them up to date, mainly contract lifecycle management software.
- Help develop contract templates, playbooks and other tools for use by the team.
- Be part of a team committed to continually improving our service to the client and adding value.
Essential Criteria:
The required skills, knowledge, capabilities, and education for this role are:
- Law Degree and/or Legally Qualified.
- Legally eligible to work in Chile.
- Minimum of 3-4 years' experience of drafting and negotiating commercial contracts within a law firm, an ALSP, as part of an in-house legal team – ideally international experience.
- Advanced english proficiency written and verbal communication. Mandatory (the work is 100% in English language) – English test will apply to qualify.
- Strong attention to detail.
- Regular client-facing experience and extraordinary communication skills.
- Good commercial awareness, working directly with business managers.
- Strong working knowledge of Microsoft Office suite - especially Microsoft Word and previous experience with CLMs.
- You will work with systems of different kind, upload information, update reports, KPIs to comply with and have clear turnaround time obligations.
You need to be adaptable, authentic, accountable, and values-driven, also flexible to work under EST US Timezones. You’re a team player who exhibits personal leadership and leaves things better than you found them. We’re looking for someone who always gives their best and inspires others to do the same. This role requires the legal knowledge to take instructions from our client, take appropriate action and serve as an escalation point on issues for more junior team members. It’s no small task.
Salary expectation and benefits:
- 2,000USD to 2,500USD monthly net salary expectation, which will be defined according to the candidate level an evaluation.
- 4 holiday weeks per year
