What you'll do:Lead the formulation and execution of the mining sector strategy for Latin America. Develop and implement value propositions for the mining sector in Latin America. Develop and manage relationships with new and existing customers in the Latin American mining sector. Manage, coach, and champion the professional development of Mining sector business development managers and peers in the region. Analyze competitors and develop counter-strategies within business units. Work closely with Marketing and Global Sector Team to ensure effective messaging and strategy. Analyze and prioritize market opportunities and projects. Stay informed about new entrants, market developments, growth rates, and technological innovations. Skills and experience:Strong experience in the mining sector, preferably with mining companies, service providers, or equipment suppliers, with previous experience in Latin America. Bachelor's degree in engineering (preferred) or related field, with a specialization in sales. Fluency in English and Spanish mandatory; Portuguese is a plus. Willingness to travel within Latin America. Extensive network of mining client contacts in Latin America, including international and local mining companies, mining service companies, and EPC groups. Previous experience in business development, sales, and/or operations with a track record of meeting sales targets. Proven ability to develop strategies, market development, account management, and competitor analysis. Strong leadership, communication, and relationship management skills with clients and sales teams. Additional responsibilities:Identify, evaluate, and negotiate new sales and marketing growth opportunities. Provide technical product expertise and support sales processes with technical knowledge. Promote Aggreko brand and develop revenue models, sales/distribution channels, and pricing strategies. Build brand awareness and support new product development initiatives. Accountability level:Manages an operational job family for an entire region or country, influencing strategic business decisions. Key responsibilities:Assist in developing sales and marketing budgets and plans. Develop and maintain relationships with national accounts aligned with company goals. Conduct market and customer opportunity studies. Design and implement marketing and sales programs to increase awareness and competitiveness. Ensure organizational offerings meet customer needs and facilitate understanding through workshops.
