UofL Health seeks a Lab Assistant II for University Hospital - UMC. This role supports Medical Technologists/Technicians by ensuring patient specimens are ready for testing and preparing necessary supplies.

Job Responsibilities

• Prepare and identify samples for laboratory testing
• Perform instrument maintenance and troubleshooting
• Document maintenance performance of instruments/equipment
• Control inventory and supplies
• Accurately report patient results in the EHR

Shift Details

Shift Length: 8 hours, 5 shifts/week. Overtime may be required occasionally.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required
• Some college coursework preferred
• Strong customer service and organizational skills are essential.
