The Role

As a Junior Trading Operations Engineer at Pepperstone, you will play a vital role in our commitment to serving our valued business users and clients. Ensuring the smooth operation and reliability of our systems is our main priority. By carefully monitoring client trading platforms and supervising the maintenance of our end-to-end trading infrastructure and systems, you will contribute to the seamless functioning of our critical systems.

Your Responsibilities

• Manage and administer client trading platforms including MT4, MT5, cTrader, and the in-house Pepperstone platform.
• Maintain internal dealing infrastructure to ensure efficient trading operations.
• Monitor trading-critical systems to proactively detect and address issues.
• Perform health checks on trading platforms for optimal performance.
• Conduct regular audits to identify and rectify vulnerabilities.
• Address Operations tickets and requests promptly.
• Manage corporate actions and daily operational tasks.
• Investigate trade-related issues end-to-end.
• Resolve pricing issues effectively.
• Ensure efficient communication with internal and external stakeholders.
• Support regulatory reporting initiatives.

About You

• Bachelor's degree in related fields or equivalent experience.
• Adaptability to a fast-paced environment.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Excellent written and spoken English is required.
• Previous experience in online trading is an advantage.
• Familiarity with trading platforms and liquidity aggregation tools.
• Ability to investigate issues using logs.
• Willingness to learn.
