Job Overview

Plan A Technologies is looking for a Junior Full-Stack Engineer . In this role, you’ll work on front- and back-end code to produce scalable software solutions. You'll participate in the complete software development life cycle, from conception to deployment. You’ll be part of a talented and experienced team headed by a lead engineer, building software used by thousands of customers and millions of consumers worldwide. The technology stack includes Python, JavaScript, a wide variety of AWS services, and integration with generative AI models. This is an exciting job with room for significant career growth.

Please note: you must have at least 2+ years of experience as Full-stack with Python and JavaScript to be considered for this role.

JOB RESPONSIBILITY

• Works in an agile environment to design, develop, test and deploy software.
• Writes code for new and existing features.
• Develops and maintains unit tests and integration tests.
• Participates in code reviews.
• Collaborates with development teams and product managers.
• Maintains confidentiality of work-related issues, records, and company information.
• Demonstrates a commitment to Diversity, Equity and inclusion by treating everyone with respect and dignity, ensuring all voices are heard and advocating change.
  
  

Experience

• Pursuing or receiving a Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field.
• 2+ years as a software engineer
• Hands-on experience with Python and JavaScript
• Comfortable with the Linux command line and Git
• Hands on experience with AWS
• Knowledge of SQL
• Excellent communication and teamwork skills
• Great attention to detail, Organizational skills and an analytical mind
• Ability to share a code sample and give a walkthrough
• Excellent verbal and written English communication skills.
• Initiative and drive to do great things.
