Job Description:

JEFE GENERAL DE TERRENO

Principales responsabilidades

• Elaborar y mantener programa de producción y planes de trabajo.
• Supervisar ejecución constructiva con foco en calidad, seguridad y cumplimiento técnico.
• Coordinar recursos (cuadrillas, equipos, materiales) y su disponibilidad oportuna.
• Promover y exigir cultura preventiva; detener actividades de riesgo inaceptable.
• Gestionar la relación operativa con cliente/inspección y reportes de avance.
• Medir productividad y avance físico; implementar acciones correctivas.
• Asegurar cumplimiento ambiental y de relación con comunidades.
• Mantener registros confiables en sistemas corporativos (ERP, control de obra).
• Apoyar gestión contractual (adicionales, reclamos, modificaciones).
  
  

Funciones específicas de Producción

• Alinear secuencias constructivas con plan maestro, evitando interferencias.
• Validar rendimientos/productividades y proponer ajustes (cuadrillas, equipos, métodos).
• Implementar métodos constructivos de ingeniería, adaptados a condiciones reales.
• Asegurar abastecimiento oportuno (Bodega/Logística/Compras).
• Revisar propuestas de subcontratos desde factibilidad y productividad.
• Ejecutar sistemas de control de calidad (ensayos, protocolos, no conformidades).
  
  

Requisitos Excluyentes

• Formación: Ingeniero Civil o Constructor Civil (o título extranjero revalidado).
• Experiencia:
• 15 años en obras civiles, con jefatura/supervisión directa en terreno.
• ≥8 años supervisando obras de similar envergadura y complejidad (continuo o acumulado).
• Trayectoria en infraestructura relevante (carreteras, puentes, túneles, hospitales, plantas, hidráulicas).
• Disponibilidad: presencia completa en terreno, turnos especiales/nocturnos si aplica; movilidad nacional.
  
  

Formación y certificaciones valoradas

• Diplomados/postítulos en gestión y dirección de proyectos/obras, planificación y control.
• Conocimiento actualizado de normativa chilena (OGUC, NCh, MOP, concesiones) e internacionales.
• Herramientas: MS Office avanzado (Excel – curvas S, rendimientos, presupuestos), MS Project/Primavera P6, AutoCAD/Revit/BIM, ERP/plataformas de control.
• Certificaciones: Prevención de Riesgos (OSHA/ISO 45001), PMI/Lean/Last Planner, primeros auxilios/emergencias; según proyecto: altura, espacios confinados, izaje. En licitaciones, las obligatorias son excluyentes.
  
  

Competencias técnicas clave

• Procesos constructivos (movimiento de tierra, hormigón, estructuras metálicas, terminaciones).
• Planificación y control (caminos críticos, planes de recuperación).
• Gestión de recursos y productividad (dimensionamiento, rendimientos, decisiones ágiles).
• Lectura de planos y especificaciones (ingeniería, as-built, anexos de contrato).
• Gestión de subcontratos (plazos, calidad, seguridad, alcance).
• Normativa y calidad (NCh, especificaciones del mandante, ISO 9001).
  
  

Experiencia requerida

• Participación comprobada en planificación, ejecución, puesta en marcha y cierre.
• Interacción frecuente con inspecciones técnicas y organismos públicos.
• Exposición a resolución contractual: reclamos, adicionales y gestión de riesgos.
