Job Role

We are seeking a talented Backend Engineer with expertise in Java to join our Nisum team in Latam. The ideal candidate will collaborate with cross-functional teams to design, develop, and maintain web experiences for a retail client.

Key Responsibilities

• Develop code using the latest Java, Spring, SQL/NOSQL technologies.
• Solve technical problems with cutting-edge technologies.
• Propose and showcase optimal solutions for technical challenges.
• Contribute technical expertise to various projects.
• Conduct research and implement proof of concepts as required.

Required Experience and Skills

• 5+ years of Java/J2EE development experience.
• Hands-on experience with Java-microservices (Java 8, 11+, Spring Boot, Kafka, Oracle).
• Proficient in SOA, Rest Services, and Spring-related technologies.
• Strong skills in unit testing and code quality.
• Familiarity with build tools like Maven & Gradle and CI/CD pipelines.
• Passion for new technology and open source.
• Independent problem-solver with creative solutions.
• Good communicator and collaborative team player.

Preferred Skills

• Exposure to SOAP APIs and Webflux.
• UI knowledge in JavaScript, Vue JS, and Node JS.
