Role Description

This is a part-time remote Instructor role focused on helping learners build job-ready skills and improve their career outcomes. The Instructor will deliver live or recorded online lessons, workshops, and training sessions on topics such as job search strategies, professional skills, and industry-specific knowledge. Daily responsibilities include preparing instructional materials, creating practical exercises, assessing learner progress, and offering constructive feedback. The Instructor will also respond to learner questions, facilitate discussions, and collaborate with Global JobList staff to refine course content and improve learning experiences. Consistent availability for scheduled sessions and reliable online communication are essential.

Qualifications

  • Experience teaching, training, coaching, or mentoring adults in an online or classroom environment.
  • Strong communication skills, including clear explanation of complex topics and active listening.
  • Comfort with remote work tools such as video conferencing platforms, learning management systems, and collaborative documents.
  • Ability to design or adapt instructional materials, activities, and assessments for diverse learners.
  • Organized work style with reliable time management and follow-through on scheduled sessions and learner support.
  • Understanding of job search processes, resume and profile development, interviewing, or professional networking is highly beneficial.
  • Bachelor’s degree in Education, Human Resources, Career Counseling, Business, or a related field preferred, or equivalent practical experience.
  • Commitment to inclusive, non-discriminatory teaching practices and supporting learners from varied backgrounds.
