- Reports to: IT Director
- Time commitment: Full-time
Coordinate academic technology initiatives in order to offer integrated, innovative, and secure solutions that directly support Nido's educational mission and community. Direct the design, maintenance, and strategic upscaling of technology infrastructure and applications required for all educational activities. Serve as the principal liaison between technological resources and instructional needs, playing a key role in the assessment, development, and integration of technology—including Artificial Intelligence—within all academic projects to ensure optimal learning environments and successful educational outcomes.

- High proficiency in English required
- Basic coding (e.g., Javascript, Python, HTML, Google Apps Manager (GAM)).

- Attention to detail and ability to perform multiple tasks in a fast-paced, high-profile environment.
- Experience installing and troubleshooting software and hardware.
- Strong communication skills that accommodate a diverse population of users and learners.
- Passion and knowledge about the use of technologies to support creative learning.
- Ability to coordinate and provide software and hardware training for faculty.
- Configure, deploy, and maintain Chromebooks in an educational environment.
- Demonstrate deep knowledge of Apple ecosystems, including device management and troubleshooting.
- Understand and work with a wide range of systems and devices, including interactive screens, 3D printers, and other educational hardware and software.
- Deliver engaging professional development sessions, workshops, and 1:1 coaching for faculty and staff.
- Exhibit strong problem-solving, troubleshooting, and process analysis skills.
- Manage data synchronization, rostering, integrations, and workflow automations between systems.
- Analyze and manipulate academic data to generate insights for decision-making using platforms such as Tableau, Looker Studio, or similar tools.
Level 1:
- Lead and facilitate the work of the EdTech team, helping set priorities, guiding daily operations, and fostering a collaborative environment to achieve strategic EdTech goals.
- Lead and coordinate technological operations for academic processes, for example, software-managed Parent Teacher Conferences, school meetings, and standardized tests, among others.
- Provide active leadership in educational technology projects with a focus on innovation, data protection, and platform integration.
- Work closely with both the Teaching & Learning and Tech teams on school-wide tech projects.
- Manage academic-related software subscriptions, involving purchasing, deploying, and maintaining systems and subsystems that comply with school needs.
- Incorporate Artificial Intelligence where relevant across academic and operational processes, and lead efforts to foster and shape the school’s AI culture
- Integrate different systems, subsystems, and apps in order for them to work cohesively, including rostering, synchronization, and automation.
- System admin overseeing academic and technology platforms, including Apple devices, Chromebooks, and related hardware.
- Provide high-level, timely, and high-quality technology support services.
- Establish and evaluate educational technology policies, procedures, and processes.
- Coordinate and provide high-quality training, workshops, and 1:1 coaching for faculty and staff in specialized software, systems and equipment.
- Analyze, and interpret academic data to support strategic and instructional decision-making
- Stay up to date with the latest technologies and innovations available within education tech.
- Knowledge and application of ISTE and other educational technology-related standards.
- Partner with the school's tech stakeholders to develop operational and capital budget plans, considering technical requirements and needs to meet the strategic goals of the school.
- Other duties assigned by the Director of IT or the Deputy Head of School for Teaching and Learning.
