About Risk and Quant Solutions (RQS)

Risk and Quant is one of the fastest growing practices at Evalueserve, addressing some of the world’s largest financial needs with technology-proven solutions.

Responsibilities

  • Development and maintenance of the platform for index production.
  • Programming: developing of strategies using rule books.
  • Taking care of day-to-day issues associated with maintenance and delivery of indices to clients.
  • Delivery of monthly performance reports.
  • Performing data quality checks to ensure the quality of input for index calculation.
  • Collaboration with development teams to improve the efficiency and accuracy of index calculations.
  • Implementation of continuous improvements in the processes and tools used for index production.

Qualifications

  • Professional degree in IT, preferably engineering (IT or Computer Science) with 2-3 years of relevant experience.
  • Strong Python knowledge focused on data management (OOP mandatory).
  • Strong command of Excel and data manipulation.
  • Knowledge of Capital markets Asset Classes, ideally in Options/Fixed Income/Commodities.
  • Ability to own tasks and projects, maintaining stakeholders in the loop.
  • Ability to work in a dynamic environment and adapt to rapid changes.
  • Meticulous, with strong attention to detail.
  • Good written and oral communication skills in English.
