HSE Supervisor
At Sonnedix, we are seeking an H&S Supervisor to join our team in Chile, reporting to the H&S Manager – Chile. This role will be instrumental in implementing health and safety (H&S) programs across our operations, which include solar, wind, and battery projects under construction and operation, as well as our local offices. The H&S Supervisor will play a central role in ensuring compliance with Chilean regulations and Sonnedix standards, while also fostering a strong safety culture and working closely with contractors and internal teams.
Key responsibilities include conducting site inspections, supervising contractors, investigating incidents, delivering training, and supporting reporting, audits, and preventive action plans. The ideal candidate will bring strong organizational and communication skills, a proactive and responsible approach, and the ability to collaborate effectively across diverse teams. A willingness to travel frequently to operational and construction sites across Chile is required.
Desirable skills:
- Technical or professional degree in Occupational Health & Safety.
- Experience in H&S within the energy industry (renewables preferred).
- Strong knowledge of Chilean HSE regulations and compliance frameworks (e.g., DS 44, DS 594, ISO 45001).
- Proven experience in contractor supervision, HSE audits, documentation processes and IA and reporting platforms
- Excellent organizational and communication skills, with a responsible, structured, and proactive approach.
