Purpose and objective

The HRBP Marketing & Group Functions role provides dedicated hands ‑ on HR support to Marketing and Group Functions in Chile, ensuring consistent employee experience throughout the lifecycle, efficient execution of HR processes and compliance with local regulations and Glencore standards.

This position is responsible for managing key processes across onboarding, development, engagement, and offboarding, while supporting leaders with day-to-day workforce needs and ensuring timely resolution of employee matters.

By coordinating HR activities and fostering effective communication, the role enhances the employee experience and contributes to organizational stability, engagement, and overall performance.

Education And Experience In The Role

Bachelor’s degree in Psychology, Business Administration, Human Resources, or related field

Preferred: Master’s degree in Human Resources Management, Organizational Development, or MBA

Advanced English (written and spoken)

Minimum 5-10 years in HR roles, ideally in multinational organizations

Proven experience in talent management, employee relations, organizational development and HR analytics

Compensation & Reward knowledge

Exposure to strategic HRBP responsibilities and cultural transformation

Experience using HRIS platforms (Success Factors, Workday)

Responsabilities

  • Support line leaders in employee life cycle and organizational changes: Drive effective onboarding, development, engagement, and offboarding processes to deliver consistent and positive employee experience. Partner with line leaders to manage the employee lifecycle and guide organizational change initiatives, ensuring smooth transitions and employee adoption.
  • Employee relations and Advisory: Act as a trusted advisor to employees and managers on HR policies, performance issues, conflict resolution, and employment practices. Address and resolve employee queries promptly, escalating complex matters where appropriate
  • Support performance, talent management and training processes: Support performance and talent management processes by facilitating conversations that drive results and reinforce culture, assisting in reviews and development planning. Identify and support the implementation of fit-for-purpose Learning and Development programs, leveraging group initiatives where appropriate. Lead the deployment and promotion of the global learning platform, Advance, in Santiago.
  • Promote culture and employee wellbeing: Promote organizational culture and employee wellbeing through programs and activities that enhance engagement and overall experience.
  • Reporting and Data Analysis: Prepare reports and conduct data analysis, translating insights into actionable recommendations for leaders and linking HR KPIs to process tracking.
  • Ensure compliance with internal and external policies: Ensure adherence to internal policies and external regulations, anticipating risks and safeguarding organizational integrity.
  • HR Hub Collaboration: Collaborate with the HR Hub to ensure efficient process execution, maintaining global consistency while adapting to local requirements.
  • Manage Workday & Corporate Systems: Ensure accurate and timely employee data management and generate reliable reports to support decision-making, compliance and actionable talent insights
  • Discipline management: Oversee and ensure the proper documentation of disciplinary cases for their employee group, and conduct investigations when appropriate, always maintaining the highest standards of confidentiality and accuracy. Oversee the accurate and timely submission of internal and external HR reports, audits, and regulatory filings as required.
  • Reward initiatives implementation: Local implementation of reward initiatives for their employee group - including salary reviews, bonus payments, benefits offering and recognition programs - based on internal equity, market benchmarking, and performance outcomes, ensuring alignment with company policies and local regulations.
