We are looking to add a dynamic Math expert to a strong Mathematics department. The teacher should have the ability and flexibility to teach various IB SL and HL courses. Additionally, the teacher should be able to teach both standard or advanced Grade 9 and 10 courses. Responsible for supporting individual students with successful integration into a general education environment. The High School Math Teacher should be responsible for delivering a rigorous and engaging mathematics curriculum to high school students, fostering critical thinking and quantitative literacy.

- IB Math HL and SL teaching experience and IB training (preferred).
- Math teaching experience using the Common Core Standards (preferred).
- Experience with competency based learning or standards-based learning (preferred).
- Solid conceptual and applied knowledge of current research and trends in curriculum, instruction, and assessment.
- Demonstrated experience collaborating with colleagues.
- A minimum of 2 years of teaching experience in high school.
- High English proficiency level.
- Ability to contribute to the overall sense of the school community through positivity, optimism, engagement, and professionalism.

- Teach five sections of high school math courses, including IB and non-IB courses.
- Collaborate with the math department to further develop and improve the math curriculum- this includes participating in weekly curricular planning meetings with course-alike teaching partners.
- Serve as an Advisor for a small group of 8-12 high school students.
- Engage in the co-curricular program at Nido by advising a club or coaching an athletic team.
- Participate in the annual Week Without Walls program.
