Anton Paar will establish a new wholly-owned subsidiary in Santiago de Chile, starting in January 2026. Therefore, we are looking for someone to join our team as a Head of Administration & Accounting.As Head of Administration & Accounting, you will serve as the direct link between our subsidiary in Chile and the HQ in Graz, Austria. You will be involved in all business processes and actively contribute to the success of our subsidiary by overseeing all administrative matters.

Responsibilities:

• Lead and manage all administrative functions, including Finance, HR, IT, Logistics, Purchasing, Inventory, and Order Processing.
• Act as the primary communication interface with Headquarters in Graz, Austria.
• Supervise and support the administrative team, ensuring effective coordination across departments.
• Develop, implement, and improve business processes and systems in alignment with the General Manager and HQ.
• Oversee financial operations, including daily accounting, cash flow, bank transactions, and intercompany settlements.
• Manage accounts payable and receivable, petty cash, travel expenses, and cost center allocations.
• Conduct monthly closings, manage fixed assets and depreciation, and assist in the preparation of annual financial statements.
• Prepare financial reports and budgets, and coordinate cost control activities.
• Handle legal matters in cooperation with internal and external legal advisors.
• Liaise with banks, auditors, tax agents, and payroll providers; support audits and ensure tax compliance.
  
  

Your profile:

• Degree in Finance, Accounting, Business Administration, or a related field.
• Experience working in an international industrial company.
• Excellent command of English.
• Strong knowledge of accounting principles, financial reporting, and ERP systems (preferably SAP)
• Analytical, accurate and result-oriented approach to work.
• A strong understanding of business processes, logical system thinking.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Long-term commitment to our position.
• Very good project and process management skills.
• Experience with legal, payroll, and tax matters is highly desirable.
