Role Responsibilities

This role offers the opportunity to build and scale high-performance systems using Go within a globally distributed, fully remote engineering organization.

• Design, develop, test, and maintain robust, well-documented software systems using Golang.
• Debug and resolve production issues across distributed systems.
• Participate in code reviews and architectural discussions.
• Collaborate on technical specifications and system improvements.
• Enhance engineering workflows and observability.
• In some cases, operate services owned by the team.
• Support product success through advocacy and documentation.

Requirements

• Strong academic background in Computer Science or related field.
• Proven experience in building production-grade software in Golang.
• Familiarity with Linux systems (preferably Ubuntu or Debian).
• Experience with distributed systems and scalable architectures.
• Excellent problem-solving abilities and communication skills in English.
• Willingness to travel internationally twice a year.
• Nice to have: experience with Ubuntu ecosystem tools.
