Position: Go Developer

Location: Remote

Duration: 2-3 year contract

Pay: $17-25 USD

Desired Skills

• 4+ years of experience with statically typed languages such as Go, C, C++, or Rust.
• Expertise in Golang, with a deep understanding of its concurrency model, frameworks, and best practices.
• At least 1 year of experience using React on the frontend
• Solid understanding of server-side rendering (SSR), asynchronous request handling, partial page updates, and RESTful APIs.
• Proficiency in distributed caching and NoSQL databases.
• Familiarity with microservices architecture and containerization (Docker, Kubernetes)

You will

• Collaborate with cross-functional teams including product managers, full stack engineers, test automation engineers, and Scrum Masters to continuously enhance customer experience.
• Design, develop, and maintain scalable microservices in Go, ensuring high performance, reliability, and maintainability.
• Create and enhance an extensible library of APIs, enabling rapid development and consistent integration practices across services.
• Translate functional requirements into robust, scalable backend services, focusing on efficiency, security, and best practices in API design.
• Mentor and coach mid-level and junior developers, fostering a sense of ownership, accountability, and continuous learning.
• Cultivate a positive team atmosphere that encourages open communication, creative problem-solving, and innovative thinking.
• Monitor, troubleshoot, and resolve production issues, ensuring the stability and reliability of applications.
• Contribute to code reviews and automated testing efforts, ensuring code quality and meeting coverage targets.
• Participate in an on-call rotation with the entire digital and engineering organizations, including Directors and members of the Product team.
