You will be responsible for the aftermarket Distribution Center operations performance and Contract Logistics partner management and contract management operationally with specified Market Area responsibilities. Your role plays a crucial part to contribute to our business. In this position, you will report to Director, Distribution Center Operations, with dotted line reporting to the Director, Logistics Operations South America. Location: Brazil, Chile, or Peru. This role requires travelling within the South America region constantly and globally (annually) up to 50% of the working time. Team you belong to You will join a team of Warehouse and Quality Managers, Process Assurance and Specialists dedicated to providing warehouse services with high efficiency, service level and added value to supply chain operations and customers. We work closely with internal/external stakeholders, such as transportation, procurement and sales. Our team culture is all about customer focus, high ambition, collaboration, and open communication. What you'll do As Head of Warehousing, you will be accountable for the operational distribution services including warehousing, packaging, and value-added services within the region. You will ensure performance and quality of operations by managing 3PL service provider contracts as well as in-house warehouse operations. To be successful, you will need skills and experience to manage in-house warehouse operations and logistics partners, as well as being capable of cooperating and communicating efficiently with stakeholders. You will continuously seek ways to improve cost-efficiency, operational performance, and service solutions through close collaboration with multiple internal and external stakeholders. Who you are Solid experience in logistics and warehousing is required with a proven track record of managing warehouse operations, processes, or partners. Key skills include: Management Skills: People, Warehouse Operations, Projects, Contracts, and StakeholdersWarehouse Process and System knowledgeLean continuous improvement experience and mindsetHSE experience and mindsetSkills in communication, negotiations, analytics, and reportingAdvanced English and Spanish languages are mandatory.
