Introduction
We are seeking a Head of Warehousing, South America to join our Global Logistics Service Management team. You will be responsible for the aftermarket Distribution Center operations performance and Contract Logistics partner management and contract management operationally with specified Market Area responsibilities. Your role plays a crucial part to contribute to our business.
In this position, you will report to Director, Distribution Center Operations, with dotted line reporting to the Director, Logistics Operations South America.
Location for this role will be in Brazil, Chile, or Peru and this role requires travelling with South America region constantly and globally (annually) up to 50 % of the working time.
Team you belong to
You will join a team of Warehouse and Quality Managers, Process Assurance and Specialists dedicated to providing warehouse services with high efficiency, service level and added value to supply chain operations and customers. We are currently working on overseeing Distribution Center operations in Brazil, Chile and Peru and with continuous process and operations development.
We work closely with internal / external stakeholders, such as transportation, procurement and sales.

What You’ll Do
As of Head of Warehousing, SAM you would be accountable of the operational distribution services including warehousing, packaging, and value-added services within the region.
You would be ensuring performance and quality of the operations by managing 3PL service provider contract as well as in-house warehouse operations. To be successful in the position you will need skills and experience to manage in-house warehouse operations and logistics partners as well as being capable to cooperate and communicate efficiently to stakeholders.
You will continuously seek ways to improve cost-efficiency, operational performance, and service solutions with close collaboration of multiple internal and external stakeholders.
Who You Are
Solid experience in logistics and warehousing would be required with proven track record of managing warehouse operations, processes, or partners.
Management Skills: People, Warehouse Operations, Projects, Contracts and Stakeholders
Warehouse Process and System knowledge
Lean continuous improvement experience and mind-set
HSE experience and mind-set
Skills in communication, negotiations, analytics, and reporting
Advanced English and Spanish languages is mandatory
Self- driven and possess the ability to work independently
Seeking scenarios/options with the capabilities to analyze those options
Visionary mindset and Strong business acumen
Highly organized and effective time management
