The Role
This is a substantive post for a service improvement initiative within the Urology Department.
The NHSL Urology Service is centrally managed at University Monklands, focusing on the Haematuria and high PSA Pathways.
This role requires carrying out flexible cystoscopies. Training will be provided if there is no prior experience in this area. You will work alongside Service Management Teams, Consultants, Doctors, Nurses, and Secretarial staff.
The post-holder will assist with managing Urology Cystoscopy surveillance patients and support advanced specialist nurses with high PSA pathways. Additionally, you may be required to deputise for the Team Lead.

What We'll Need You to Bring
- Registered Healthcare practitioner with valid UK Registration (NMC / HCPC)
- Educated to/working towards/operating at Masters Level
- Post graduate expertise within specialty
- Comprehensive knowledge of clinical guidelines
- Advanced Specialist knowledge of relevant conditions
- Evidence of applying advanced practice skills
- Further developed knowledge in management and/or leadership
- Continuous Professional Development evidence
It Would Be Great If You Also Have
- Excellent team-working and leadership skills
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Effective time management abilities

Location and Working Pattern
This role is based in Urology within University Hospital Monklands.
