Job Overview
The Division of Gastroenterology and Hepatology at the University of Louisville School of Medicine is seeking a Gastroenterologist/Transplant Hepatologist to join a division engaged in diverse clinical and academic practice, and research including multiple NIH grants, and two NIH Center grants.

Position Details
The appointment will be at the rank of Assistant or Associate Professor level, depending on qualifications and experience. The successful candidate will serve as attending on the general hepatology and liver transplant service and possess excellent teaching and clinical skills.
Qualifications
Candidates must have completed ACGME accredited fellowship in gastroenterology and transplant hepatology fellowship to qualify for this academic position.
Responsibilities
- Teaching: Dedicate time to the teaching of medical students, graduate students, residents, fellows, nursing personnel, and colleagues.
- Service: Interact with transplant chairs and Division Directors for the development and implementation of growth plans in Hepatology.
- Clinical: Provide care for inpatients and outpatients with chronic liver disorders.
- Research: Participate in clinical trials.
