As Funding Operations you'll be at the center of helping Capchase finance transactions, assessing all the way from the risk we want to take on as a business, to managing and optimizing critical processes. If you are an expert in operational efficiency, building and managing risk portfolios, working cross functionally with internal and external stakeholders - this is the role for you!
You will be involved all the way from tracking fund allocations and collaborating with financial partners, to preparing insightful reports and ensuring we stay ahead of compliance standards. 🚀 What will you do?
- Relationship with lenders: Negotiate and serve as the primary point of contact between Capchase and external lenders and capital providers to successfully close deals. Assist in maintaining strong relationships with investors and lenders as required
- Process Management: Oversee and manage the end to end process, qualifying all deal information to ensure all transactions comply with regulatory requirements, internal policies, and risk management frameworks. Assist in the creation and implementation of funding strategies and workflows to enhance operational efficiency.
- Deal Tracking and Management: Track and manage deals through various stages. Prepare and maintain accurate documentation for funding activities, ensuring compliance with internal policies and regulatory requirements.
- Financial Reporting and Analysis: Prepare regular reports on funding activity, including cash flow analysis, funding trends, and performance metrics. Analyze and reconcile funding discrepancies and ensure accurate record-keeping.
- Funding and Deal Submissions: Ensure all funding packages are completed, all verifications have been conducted and we can fund a transaction.
- Portfolio and Risk Management: Monitor and report on any funding risks, ensuring appropriate measures are in place. Proactively address potential funding delays or disruptions and provide solutions. Create attractive pools of deals to sell to forward flow providers after they have been seasoned inhouse.
- Documentation and Compliance: Gather and store necessary documentation for approved deals, ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements.
- Stakeholder Management: Identify and implement process improvements to streamline operations and enhance efficiency. Work closely with other departments (e.g., GTM, Risk, Tech, Finance, Legal, Operations) to ensure alignment and smooth execution
- Background in a financial services company or similar industry
- Experience in funding operations or having worked at a capital provider
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to accuracy
- Analytical mindset with solid problem-solving skills
- Ability to multi-task and thrive in a fast-paced environment
- Professional experience in funding operations, audit, finance, or a related field
- Proficient in English is a must
- This role will be 100% remote based in the Americas timezone.
