We're on a mission to revolutionize how financial institutions analyze and use data to make informed decisions. As a Front-End Engineer at Daloopa, you will play a pivotal role in creating intuitive and user-friendly web applications that empower our clients to harness the power of data. Position Overview: As a Front-End Engineer at Daloopa, you will collaborate with our product and engineering teams to design and develop cutting-edge user interfaces and experiences for our web applications. Your primary focus will be on implementing user-facing features, ensuring high performance, and delivering a seamless and responsive user experience.

What You’ll Do

  • Work closely with product managers and UX/UI designers to translate wireframes and design concepts into functional web applications.
  • Develop and maintain efficient, reusable, and reliable front-end code using modern JavaScript frameworks such as React (required)
  • Collaborate with back-end developers to integrate web applications with RESTful APIs and other data sources.
  • Optimize applications for maximum speed and scalability while ensuring cross-browser and cross-platform compatibility.
  • Conduct code reviews and provide constructive feedback to maintain code quality and best practices.
  • Participate in the entire software development lifecycle, from concept and design to testing and deployment.
  • Stay up-to-date with the latest industry trends and best practices in front-end development.
  • Troubleshoot and debug technical issues and implement solutions as needed.
  • Build conversational chat interfaces for LLM-powered features, including real-time streaming responses, message threading, and context management
  • Implement responsive UI patterns for AI interactions such as typing indicators, progressive content rendering, and graceful error states during LLM API calls

What You’ll Bring

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field (or equivalent work experience).
  • Proven experience as a Front-End Engineer or a similar role for 5-10 years (required).
  • Proven experience managing large projects (required).
  • Desired proven experience at US-based technology companies (even better if series B or above).
  • Proficiency in JavaScript, HTML5, and CSS3.
  • Strong knowledge of at least one modern JavaScript framework/library (e.g., React, Angular, or Vue.js).
  • Experience with version control systems (e.g., Git).
  • Familiarity with front-end build tools, package managers, and bundlers (e.g., Webpack, npm, or yarn).
  • Understanding of web performance optimization techniques and best practices.
  • Excellent problem-solving and debugging skills.
  • Strong communication and collaboration skills.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
  • Experience building chat-based or conversational UI interfaces with real-time streaming updates SSE, WebSockets)
  • Experience integrating with AI/LLM APIs from the frontend, including handling streaming responses and error recovery
  • Understanding of prompt engineering best practices, including few-shot learning, chain-of- thought, and structured output formats
  • Experience building production LLM-powered applications using frameworks such as LangChain, LangGraph, or LlamaIndex
  • Self-motivated and capable of taking full ownership of projects from concept to deployment. Nice to Have:
  • Experience with Office Add-ins development (task panes, custom functions, Excel JavaScript API)
