Overview

The successful candidate will be an integral part of the Software Group, contributing to the team's efforts in maintaining and enhancing the observatory's computing systems.

Key Responsibilities

• Provide front-line support for operations, recovering systems during scientific or engineering activities.
• Investigate and report computing issues detected during operations.
• Install and configure essential software for core processes such as data acquisition and processing.
• Maintain and develop operational applications and scripts to enhance workflows.
• Guide non-software engineers and astronomers in the effective use of ALMA software.
