Overview
On the Xbox Experiences and Platforms Commerce team, we aim to empower game creators to reach and engage players and successfully monetize their games—everywhere.
We help creators grow their audience through reimagined seller tools and delightful end-user experiences for game discovery, purchase, and engagement. Our goal is to increase monetization across existing and emerging business models.

Responsibilities
Our developer team is looking for a Software Engineer to join us on our journey to enhance the Xbox commerce experience for gamers and creators.
Key Responsibilities
- Learn and apply a variety of tools and technologies to deliver diverse customer experiences.
- Implement, validate, and release high-quality product features.
- Adhere to modern engineering principles and best practices.
- Collaborate with engineers and program managers to drive impactful changes.
- Actively contribute to a flexible, diverse, and inclusive culture that brings out the best in the team.
Qualifications
Required Qualifications:
- BS or MS in Computer Science or a related field.
- 3+ years of experience in software development, building end-user applications.
- Hands-on experience developing modern applications using React and TypeScript.
- Strong understanding of asynchronous programming and state management in frontend applications.
- Experience integrating cloud services and working with deployment pipelines (Azure preferred).
- A strong interest in delivering compelling end-user experiences for a gaming audience, with an understanding of their unique needs.
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience shipping cross-platform applications using React.js and TypeScript.
- Technical knowledge of challenges specific to the gaming space, including:
- Responsive UX design across various device form factors.
- Navigational input methods such as gamepad, touch, and mouse/keyboard.
